Kenisha Rotibi is a dedicated mental health professional and co-founder of A Chosen Path Counseling and Consulting, PLLC (ACP), based in Southern California. Kenisha is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Supervisor (LCSW-S) who specializes in providing therapeutic services to a diverse clientele, particularly foster children aged 5 to 18. Her work emphasizes building self-esteem, overcoming life challenges, developing coping skills, and emotional regulation, essential areas for the vulnerable populations she serves.
In addition to her counseling work, Kenisha is actively involved in community support, currently leading grievance groups for mothers who have lost children, known as the "Wolfe Pack." She is also preparing to launch her first conference, "We are Still Here?" set for this fall, which aims to provide support and strategies for moving forward after the loss of a loved one.
Kenisha's leadership extends to her role as president of the North Texas Association of Black Social Workers, where she has served since 2020 and will continue until 2024. Her commitment to social work and community engagement is further reflected in her active participation at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Dallas, TX, under Pastor Kenneth King's leadership.
On a personal note, Kenisha is married to Biola Rotibi, and together they have a son, Esias Rotibi. She is also a state Supervisor for LMSWs pursuing LCSW status, illustrating her commitment to professional development and mentorship within the field of social work.
