Retrospective Wellness Group accepts select insurance plans. Coverage may vary depending on your provider and individual plan. We encourage all clients to verify their benefits directly with their insurance company before scheduling. Clients are responsible for any copays, deductibles, or services not covered by insurance.

For those without insurance or who prefer to pay out-of-pocket, we offer a limited number of sliding scale appointments based on financial need.

Psychotherapy / Counseling: In psychotherapy, clients work directly with mental health professionals—through one-on-one, family, or group sessions—to explore emotional challenges, stress, trauma, and relationship issues. This service builds individualized coping strategies and aims to foster long-term emotional resilience.

Case Management - CPW (Children and Pregnant Women Program)

Case Management for Children and Pregnant Women (CPW) is a Texas Medicaid benefit designed to help eligible children (birth through age 20) and pregnant women access medical, social, educational, and other necessary services related to a health condition, health risk, or high-risk pregnancy.

 Medication Management 

Often provided by psychiatrists or advanced practice clinicians, medication management involves assessing patients’ needs, prescribing psychiatric medications, and monitoring their efficacy and side effects.

 Art Therapy (AT)

Is a form of expressive therapy that utilizes the creative process of making art to help individuals explore self-expression, resolve conflicts, manage behavior, reduce stress, and improve self-awareness.

Telehealth Services

These services enable the delivery of behavioral health care through remote technologies such as video conferencing or telephone consultations.

Mental Health Rehabilitation Services

A more focused variant of general case management, targeted case management is designed to address specific challenges, such as skills building or specialized healthcare services.

Crisis Intervention Services

These services offer immediate, short-term support during acute mental health crises, such as severe emotional distress, suicidal ideation, or panic attacks.

Originally developed for individuals with borderline personality disorder, DBT combines elements of CBT with mindfulness strategies.

Behavioral Support Services (BSP) in Texas Waiver Programs

Behavioral Support Services (BSP) through Texas Medicaid Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) waiver programs, supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in building positive behavioral skills and reducing challenging behaviors.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

At Retrospective Wellness Group, we are committed to providing effective, compassionate care for individuals healing from trauma, anxiety, and emotional distress. One of the powerful modalities we offer is Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy—an evidence-based treatment designed to help clients safely reprocess traumatic memories and build resilience.

Peer Support Specialist (PSS)

Is a trained professional who uses their lived experience with mental health challenges, substance use recovery, or both to support others going through similar experiences. They act as a bridge between clients and professional services, offering hope, guidance, and encouragement from the perspective of someone who has “been there.
